Gradby Wedding Photographer, Adventure Engagement Session to Lone Eagle Peak, Colorado

We had the privilege of doing a back country camping trip to Lone Eagle Peak, Monarch Lake Trailhead, right outside of Rocky Mountain National Park. It was about 14 miles roundtrip with 40lb packs on our backs and was completely exhilarating. I realize this type of engagement session isn’t for everyone, but if this at all sounds exciting to you, I would HIGHLY recommend considering it. What an unique engagement experience to have! We had such a blast the whole way through. You have to work pretty hard to get there, but after all of that hard work, you basically get this incredible location all to yourself to play around in. I’ve completely fallen in love with this type of adventure. It pushes you in so many ways and made me realize I am way more capable than I give myself credit for. Living off of dehydrated food and filtering our own water, carrying in only what we really will need, such a great reminder that you don’t need a lot of “things” to have a great adventure.
